  1.                                LIGHT BEAM CONTROLS

  3. The width of the light beam is controlled by the knobs on the side of the lamp arm nearest the bottom.

  5. To move the light beam to the side of 
  6. the field of view as when using sclerotic 
  7. scatter or indirect illumination, the knob 
  8. on the back-lower part of the light tower 
  9. is loosened.  Turn the light tower by the 
  10. base of the tower which has the beam 
  11. with control.

  13. The light tower can also be tilted forward 
  14. by releasing the latch between the two 
  15. light beam with controls and tilting the 
  16. tower.  The latch allows 5 degree 
  17. increments of tilt.  This control can be 
  18. useful for gonioscopy and fundus examination.
